Just set up this blog as with all vacations we take. Hopefully, one day we can look back and read through these to bring back some great memories. I am packing up my office gear...yeah, I know, I shouldn't be taking along anything. But with our return so close to the start of the semester, I need to stay connected somehow!!
Kids are watching some shows. Nice and quiet. Jordan is packing clothes. Jen is gone to get a pedicure. The clam is mounted on the roof and we are now in the final hours waiting to go> Personally, I am ready. These past few weeks with my Grandmother's passing, getting ready for classes and doing some side work have had me running a little ragged. A beach is the cure. That beach is Myrtle Beach!!!
I am hoping we get away, have a blast, unwind, and relax. With school around the corner, our schedules will be busy as usual. See ya on the road!!!!

ReplyDeleteI mentioned this to Jordan, but I'll mention it to Jillian and Jake as well.
Would you pick me up a few seashells from the beach? Not hundreds. Just a few. Pick ones that have an interesting shape or color or texture. Then when you give them to me, tell me why you picked that shell.
Don't pick any with hermit crabs currently living in them. I don't want a hermit crab crawling out of a shell and trying to find another shell in my apartment to move into.
Have a great trip. Use sunscreen. And don't drive your parents crazy.
